Art of Survival (2011) - An Agro-Art Experience - is about using the arts in opening up new critical territory for contemporary art practice within the context of agriculture. This multi-disciplinary exhibition will show how the artists sought to work at the critical edges of creative culture in order to re-image society’s understanding of the arts of agriculture and how agriculture spawns other art forms, cultural debate, critical art practice, and aesthetic discourse. In essence, the Art of Survival art exhibit will give artists the opportunity to chart unknown and unfamiliar territory in order to understand the relationship between the arts and agriculture.
